In 2019, we experienced a range of jarring moments on the world's main stage: the gilets jaunes protests on the Paris streets for economic justice, Extinction Rebellion marched for climate rights, Tristan Thompson got caught kissing Jordan Woods, the British Conservatives came back to power and Trump was impeached. And as we head into 2020, no more settled politically, socially and culturally, fashion has taken advantage of the disunity.

Meet your new destination for trendy plus size fashion! Offering sizes 18-24, VENUS has stylish plus-size looks for every day and every occasion. With dresses, jumpsuits, and jeans that cling to the contours of your body and tops and rompers that mix and match to create crisp office looks as well as sassy nighttime silhouettes, fashion-forward VENUS clothing invites you to celebrate yourself in style.

We'll spare you the groundbreaking florals this season and instead, look to '60s and '70s wallpaper for your print fix. Retro prints ruled the runways—bringing both major color and pattern to all the top collections. Serving up mod home decor realness, vintage wallpaper (and couch) prints were channeled in the form of suiting at Prada and Marc Jacobs. Christopher Kane opted for a more psychedelic wallpaper print in the form of spring dresses, while Etro and Alberta Ferretti delivered a more bohemian-print option.
Jumpsuits are garments where high fashion meets ultimate comfort. Tailored jumpsuits are a perfect office look while dressy jumpsuits can be as glamorous as the fabled little black cocktail dress. At VENUS you’ll find jumpsuits in an assortment of styles, from strapless culottes and smocked pieces to wide-legged lounging outfits designed for a lazy day at the pool. VENUS also carries a wide range of one-piece rompers in a variety of paisley, leopard and floral prints.

It’s what you want in plus size clothing, and it’s what we do best.
While the term borrowed from the boys is so passe in 2019, there is something decidedly last midcentury Savile Row about the vest. Whether included as part of a three-piece suit at Burberry and Etro, or mismatched with a jacket at Louis Vuitton, there’s something quite dapper and appealing—not to mention endlessly flattering—about the almighty waistcoat.

I started my channel in 2011 as a way to inspire other women to create a life they love! I’m a licensed hairstylist and makeup artist and have worked in the beauty industry my entire life. I currently work full time creating videos for this channel and my vlog channel. I got married in 2015 to my middle school sweetheart and had my first baby Julian in March 2018. I opened my online clothing store in 2018 called Good To Be where we sell trendy women’s clothing, accessories and our own merch line. I’m 26 years old and live in Michigan with my husband, our son and our cavalier King Charles named Colbie. We also recently bought a vacation home in Florida that we’re renovating.

I like your hub because it has the most important information on how to wear beautiful clothes when you are in your fifties. It is nice to wear attractive beautifully clothes. It feels good wearing the satin or any soft comfortable fabric. You are great for sharing what you know. Thank you for spending your time and writing about what to wear at the age of 50 years old.
When it comes to fashion tips, it sometimes seems that everyone and their mother (literally!) has tried-and-true style advice they absolutely swear by. The long parade of more than 100 fashion shows for the spring 2020 season has concluded—but we're just getting started. The first order of business is discerning the most impactful trends of the season: from artisanal crochet and graphic polka dots to a look at decades past via disco collars and '60s wallpaper prints, couture feathers, hot pants, bold neons, and many more. See which designers led the pack for each new mode and get in on the looks early by shopping them now. Welcome to what's next.
Tonal dressing has been gaining momentum in recent seasons and SS20 favoured top-to-toe white. Gabriela Hearst, Victoria Beckham, Ralph & Russo and Tom Ford layered up the white suit, while Pierpaolo Piccoli made the entire first section of the Valentino show stark white. Chanel, Pyer Moss and Off-White also used the colour heavily throughout their spring collections. Tricky to keep clean perhaps, but surely the most effortless way to look chic for the new season.

Cathy Williamson began her blog, The Middle Page, in 2013. She says she has always had a passion for fashion and beautiful things, which is evident as you peruse her posts and “Shop With Me” page. From the photography, to the style choices she makes in her Beauty, Home and Fashion categories, Cathy is someone you’ll want to follow. Her writing makes her feel like a friend. A friend with stellar taste and whose advice you trust. Check out her Chic at Every Age fashion posts, where she partners with other bloggers ranging in age from the 20s to 50s.
Oh boy, do I ever need an over-50 makeover. I'm actually over 60 and still wearing things I had in my 20's. It's a good thing I spend most of my time in the wilds in clothing designed for adventure. But your hub has helped me decide to take a good look at my closet and switch out a few things. Sweaters! Yes! Love, love, sweaters. They hide a multitude of sins. lol
While lace-up gladiators are key in the sandal game next spring, the most surprising footwear trend to come out of the SS20 shows was the boot. In what can be seen perhaps as a signal of the loosening of seasonality, numerous designers chose to accessorise their spring collections with what was previously winter-appropriate footwear. Christopher Kane did it with the cowboy, Saint Laurent made it slouchy, while Prada and Pyer Moss championed the leather knee-high and Molly Goddard and Loewe gave boots a summertime spin with an injection of bright colour.
She is known for being the rebel, and she is. Having an unusual career trajectory, Lyn Slater has broken all barriers and is known for her hashtag #ageisnotavailable. However, she doesn’t feel like she’s breaking barriers because she genuinely believes in dressing up for yourself and sheer pleasure, as opposed to dressing up according to your age or what people think you should dress like.

Then, Prime has the fashion expertise of Judy Ninman, owner/designer for her own namesake couture company, to the latest trends and how to wear them according to Wendi McGowan-Ellis; to editor in chief Ann Franks, with her regular column on wardrobe essentials for the prime woman. These ladies are fanatics about fashion and spreading the word that style knows no age.
A sloppily cuffed jean. An ill-fitting blazer. A dress that shows just a little too much to be referred to as "tastefully sheer." These are the things that fashion editors and stylists can spot from a million miles away. To those in the biz, the proper proportions of a crop top may be obvious, but for those seeing the trends in a magazine or online, it can be a little trickier to know exactly how to wear everything.
